西北インドと南東イランにおける考古学的調査enghttp://id.nii.ac.jp/1485/00000189/info:doi/10.20676/00000189Data or Datasetスタイン, マーク・オーレルStein, Marc Aurelスタインが1931～36年にかけて、西北インドと南東イランにおいて行った考古学的調査の報告書。スタインはこれに先立って1926～27年と、1927～28年に、ブリティッシュ・バルチスターンやマクラーン、さらには隣接する南イランにかけて広く分布する先史の遺跡を調査しており、それを引き継ぐ形で行った調査についてまとめたもの。アレクサンダー大王のインド遠征に関する地形学的調査、玄奘が記した「The Salt Range」の遺跡調査などからなり、南イランと北パンジャーブから出土した陶片に関する付篇を収める。Report on archaeological studies carried out by Stein between 1931 and 1936 in northwest India and Southeast Iran. Prior to these studies, from 1926 ot 1927 and from 1927 to 1928, Stein had surveyed the previous history of archeological sites in a wide area covering British Baluchistan, Makran and neighboring southern Iran. This archaeological study followed on from those surveys. The report comprises topographical studies related to the Indian expeditions of Alexander the Great, and studies of ruins recorded in Xuan Zang’s ‘The Salt Range’.
